Colombian pop superstar Shakira has asked her fiance Antonio de la Rua to sign a pre-nuptial agreement before they marry in September, according to reports.

A newspaper in de la Rua's native Argentina claims the lawyer son of former Argentine president Fernando de la Rua will be asked to renounce any right to the singer's fortune, should they divorce.

Clarin reports, "When you're very much in love you have plenty of people giving you advice, and none of them wants to see what happened to Paul McCartney happen to her."

It also claims Shakira is eager to start a family, adding, "Shakira has already made the decision to marry Antonio de la Rua. When she was on tour in Buenos Aires she also said that her wishes to become a mother are getting more and more intense."

The couple, who have been engaged for six years, are expected to marry at a lavish mansion in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in September.

Shakira has unveiled a new campaign to raise $200 million for the fight against juvenile malnutrition and hunger in Latin America. The Colombian singer announced the initiative at an ALAS Foundation (Latin America in Solidarity Action) event at Panama's Teatro Nacional earlier this month.

Four concerts will be held in Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro and New York in 2007 in a bid to reach the sum - which will be pumped into joint initiatives with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Shakira says of the foundation, "ALAS came about because of a social emergency: 350 thousand children die each year due to avoidable causes, 40 million children work and live on the streets. We want an active Latin America, that doesn't give up, united for our children."

Latina singer Shakira has broken the record for the largest audience at a public concert in Mexico City, after more than 200,000 fans flocked to watch her. The Beautiful Liar star, who recently announced she is to wed her fiancé Antonio De La Rua in September, achieved her world record after performing to the huge audience in Zocalo Square on Sunday.

She told the crowd, "This has been a month of absolute joy. I have fed off you, and I leave with my heart full."

The previous record was held by local band Café Tacuba, who drew an audience of 170,000 fans in 2005.

Shakira Sells Out in Dubai The popular Colombian singer Shakira has set a genuine record, selling more than 25 thousand tickets in a few hours for the concert she will give next Friday at the Dubai Autodrome.

Shakira will have a massive concert in Dubai, which is part of the United Arab Emirates.

The concert is part of her Fijación Oral tour. Dubai will be a magic moment, as it will be the highest attended show in the region.

Aside from Dubai, Shakira will visit two other nations in the Arab world: Tunisia and Lebanon. She will also sing in Arabic for the first time, though she hasn’t yet announced the song, as she wants to “surprise” concert-goers.

“When we sold more than 20 thousand tickets in less than a couple of days, we knew that it was going to sell out,” said Thomas Ovensen, representative of the event organizers.
